Are you an experienced Engineering Manager/ Technical Services Manager/ Contract Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity in Central London?
A fantastic client of mine is currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Technical Manager into their business, who will take ownership for the delivery of a best in class M&E service for one of the flagship buildings.
The Senior Technical Manager will lead a team of 20 staff, including shift engineers, day engineers, admin, and a supervisor, ensuring operational excellence and compliance at a flagship commercial building. The role requires managing the day-to-day client relationship, driving performance, and maintaining high standards in critical engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of 16 shift engineers, 2 day engineers, admin, and a supervisor to deliver operational excellence.
Ensure all services are delivered in line with contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Conduct internal and client audits to maintain high standards of adequacy and effectiveness.
Guarantee full statutory and legislative compliance across all building operations.
Adhere to company policies and procedures for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ).
Proactively identify, report, and resolve compliance issues.
Collaborate with the Head of Critical Engineering to ensure the successful delivery of the Critical Engineering Management (CEM) framework.
Perform regular audits to verify compliance with the CEM process and address any non-compliance's.
Monitor and report all operational risks internally and externally as required.
Foster strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for property engineering.
Oversee supplier performance and compliance, ensuring alignment with company standards. Experience & Skills
Established leadership experience within Critical Engineering.
Electrical bias, with HV AP qualification (preferred).
Client-facing expertise, with pragmatic and proactive communication skills.
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and operational standards.
Proven ability to manage high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
Effective leadership, fostering team collaboration and operational efficiency.
Proactive problem-solving to address risks and compliance issues.
Build strong client trust through professional communication and reliability.
Maintain and improve service delivery, aligning with organisational goals. Package
