I'm looking for a Contracts Manager who has worked within the Social Housing industry to join a main contractor in the West Midlands. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for looking after Repairs and Voids work streams for one of the largest Repairs and Maintenance contractors in the UK, with serious progression opportunities as they continue to expand and grow. The Contracts Manager will mainly look after three major client contracts in the West Midlands, with 4 supervisors and 25 direct trades operatives. The works will include Day to Day Repairs, Void Property Refurbishments, and Planned Work streams within tenanted and empty homes.
Duties of the role:
* Maintaining and expanding client relationships
* Monitoring and improving KPIs related to the different contracts
* Managing labour resources to ensure smooth and efficient running of the contracts
* Ensuring contracts contribute fully to the corporate agenda and work collaboratively to achieve cross-cutting objectives and key priorities
* Executing and administering contracts in accordance with contract provisions, including the issue of relevant notices and implementation of corrective actions as necessary
* Developing and overseeing performance monitoring (including cost monitoring, projection, and analysis) of the contract and providing management information to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of the service
* Managing teams of Supervisors, RLOs, and Administrators
Requirements:
* Experience running multiple Repairs and Maintenance work streams at once
* Experience working within Social Housing
* SMSTS certification
* A clean criminal record (DBS checks will be required)
* A full UK Driving Licence (Company Car or Car Allowance is offered)
Compensation:
* Annual salary: £55,000 - £65,000
* Annual Bonus worth up to £5,000
* A company car or car allowance
* 22 Days + Bank Holidays, with one extra day added (up to 5) for each year of service
