Job Title - HR Administrator
Location - Glasgow City centre or Cumbernauld
Hours of work - Mon - Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 40 hrs per week

Optical Express are currently looking for an Administrator to join our HR Team. The HR Administrator will be responsible for administration and correspondence with employees. Good time management skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent attention to detail. The HR Administrator will utilise their excellent interpersonal and administration skills to ensure that all communications with employees are to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answering telephone calls and providing guidance on general HR related queries, escalating as appropriate.
2. Keeping HR trackers up to date.
3. Preparation of written employee correspondence.
4. Acting as the key point of contact for HR matters, and conducting administrative tasks as required for this area of the business.
5. Assisting with People projects and reports alongside day-to-day tasks.
6. Carrying out general administration tasks to ensure employee files are kept up to date, acknowledging resignations; writing contracts of employment; supporting the onboarding/offboarding processes etc.
7. To carry out duties as directed by the HR Manager.
8. Ensuring confidentiality and security in accordance with Data Protection Act and in line with GDPR.
