Teaching Assistant
Location: High Peak, Derbyshire
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) 14.65- 15 PH
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: Immediate start
The hours are Monday to Friday, 08.30 -16.30, due to the location the candidate must be a driver and have access to a vehicle.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and nurturing team at a specialist educational provision in the High Peak area. The teaching assistant will be required to support the pupils in our RAISE therapeutic provision with pupils with ESBA, ASC and Trauma. They must be able to support with Maths, English and Science along with offsite activities including outdoor education.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students with SEND, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and other learning challenges.
* Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support during lessons and activities.
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their confidence and independence.
* Assist in planning and delivering interventions to support academic and emotional progress.
* Help create a safe and engaging learning environment.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is patient, empathetic, and committed to promoting the well-being of students.
* Holds relevant experience in education or care settings (desirable but not essential).
* Has a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Is flexible, proactive, and able to work as part of a team.
