JOB TITLE: Marketing Graduate
LOCATION: Telford
HOURS: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
Job Purpose:
You will support the marketing team with a wide range of marketing activities linked to marketing objectives. Taking a tactical role in research into market opportunities and supporting delivery of initiatives.
The Graduate programme will include a full range of marketing disciplines as part of your developing experience.
1. Develop a thorough understanding of products, their features and benefits and how these align to different market segments and customer types to underpin marketing activities undertaken
2. Research commercial, retail, trade and installer market segments to understand key drivers from a product, service and support perspective
3. Research current and future purchasing trends and tools used when purchasing windows and doors
4. Research product trends by market segment to determine future product development requirements
5. Development of research material to understand routes-to-market along with required marketing assets
6. Researching, writing, and creating content, including blogs, product pages, news articles, downloadable guides etc., suitable for B2B and B2C audiences and that adhere to brand style and tone of voice
7. Support creation from brief to working with designers and external suppliers, through to delivery both online and offline activity and projects
8. Engagement with internal colleagues and external agencies to ensure accuracy in content being produced for defined segment and/or customer type
9. Data analysis and interpretation with regular reporting
10. General keyword, user intent and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
11. Planning and implementing campaigns using appropriate channels for target audience
12. Collaboration with other departments for example, sales, technical, customer service, ops, IT, accounts and the wider marketing team in support of marketing objectives
13. Creating internal comms, including company newsletters, event posters, signage etc
Key Experiences and Skills will include:
14. Marketing degree
15. Solid understanding of the principles of marketing – on and offline
16. Naturally passionate and enthusiastic with a willingness to own work
17. Creative with strong attention to detail plus confident with analytical work
18. Excellent copy writing, spelling and grammar
