Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant
Salary: £88 - £110 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:
As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be an essential part of our team, supporting our students' educational and personal development. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing individualized support to students with PMLD, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering personalized learning activities.
* Supporting students with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
* Monitoring and documenting students' progress and collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff.
* Working closely with other professionals, including therapists and medical staff, to provide holistic support for students.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with PMLD.
* A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to undertake further training as required.
