As an ER Advisor, you'll support our managers by advising and coaching them on ER cases, ensuring fair and just policies in line with legislation and best practices, while balancing risk and commerciality to achieve the best results for our business.

What You Can Expect• Ownership of Complex ER Cases: Manage your own caseload of complex ER issues, utilising your expertise in ER and employment law.• Advanced Technology: Use Mitie's case management system to deliver high-quality service remotely.• Collaboration: Build relationships with the wider HR team and senior stakeholders across the business.• Diverse Contracts: Gain exposure to a wide variety of contracts across both public and private sectors.• Expert Collaboration: Work with our legal team on Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims and collaborate with our Occupational Health providers.• Policy Improvement: Conduct ER policy and process reviews, make recommendations for improvement, and drive the implementation of enhanced services, policies, and procedures.
What We're Looking For• Passionate HR/ER professionals with strong knowledge of ER policies and employment laws.• Ability to manage a varied caseload (up to 60 at any one time)• Experience in a HR Shared Service Centre environment is desirable.• True people person, able to drive a positive experience with respect and confidentiality.• Curious thinker, able to use different approaches to situations.• Provide accurate ER advice to managers.• Ideally hold a CIPD qualification at Levels 3, 5, or 7 (support for further studies available).
