Job Title: Mortgage Case Handler

Purpose of the Role:
As a Mortgage Case Handler, you will play a key role in ensuring clients mortgage offers are issued within 15 working days whilst providing exceptional service to house builders and customers. You will work as part of the admin team to process cases from application being submitted to completion on the new property.
Key Responsibilities:
· Completing compliance checks with a keen eye to detail on new cases submitted into the team.
· Liaising with mortgage lenders daily to get the latest updates on cases.
· Providing additional information to the mortgage lenders from the clients / solicitors / builders.
· Requested additional information / documentation from clients.
· Ensuring valuations on new properties are booked in as soon as possible.
· Checking over mortgage offers before issuing to all parties.
· Dealing with any post offer requests from all parties.
· Liaising with solicitors to chase for exchange and completion dates.
· Ensuring notes on each case are kept up to date.
· Dealing with any incoming calls.
· Dealing with incoming / outgoing post.
Skills & Experience Required:
· Experience in a Mortgage Administration or Financial Services role preferred but not essential.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Conscientious and highly organised with exception time management skills
· Proven ability to develop strong relationships across internal team members
· Excellent computer skills.
· Experience with complex mortgage cases and specialist lenders is an advantage but not required.

Additional information:
· Full time – office based in Bramley, Rotherham,
· Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 four days a week with one day being 9:30 – 17:30.
· 20 days holiday increasing 1 per year of service to a maximum of 25 days (excluding bank holidays)
