We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Professional Development Phase (PDP) Operations Manager to join our dynamic Academy team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the operations of our PDP (U16-U21) teams, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment across all functions to support the growth and development of our young athletes. You'll work closely with multiple departments, drive operational efficiency, and ensure exceptional service across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational matters within the PDP, collaborating with relevant teams and departments to ensure smooth execution across the board. Lead weekly phase meetings, assigning actions, ensuring Teamworks is up to date, and maximising its effectiveness.

3. Competitions Planning: Take the lead in planning and delivering all arrangements for our PDP teams (U16, U17, U18, U21) for Premier League and EFL competitions, including FAYC, PL2, EFL Trophy, and more. Ensure each age group receives an environment that's conducive to their development, both on and off the pitch.
4. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work alongside Senior Phase Operations Managers, the Head of Phase Operations, and other academy staff to establish and maintain minimum service levels for PDP operations. Support age group events and off-field services to enhance the player experience.
5. Compliance Management: Act as the main contact with First Team Operations, ensuring the compliance of all player movements with Whereabouts regulations (anti-doping).
6. Scholarship Process: Lead the U16 scholarship validation process, liaising with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), parents, and other stakeholders to drive informed, timely decisions.
7. Pre-Season Planning: Oversee the planning and execution of pre-season camps and tournaments, ensuring all arrangements align with the PDP's objectives.
8. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with players, staff, and parents, fostering a sense of trust and confidence in the Academy's operations and goals.
9. Academy-Wide Contributions: Be an active member of the Academy's operations and development department, contributing to wider Academy projects and initiatives as needed.
