Responsibilities:
1. Management of the day to day ramp operation
2. Meeting performance SLA's
3. Managing staff members including coaching, training and motivating.
4. Ensure the smooth running of the Ramp operation
5. Maintain a disciplined workforce
6. Manage health and safety within the workplace
7. Deal with staff issues on a day to day basis
8. Ensure staff and equipment are allocated to flights in a timely manner
9. Liaise with Customers
10. Compliance with all CAA & GAL Bye-laws
11. Attend operational meetings
12. Support the Ramp Manager in all areas of the business
13. Have an understanding of the requirements of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for pharmaceutical and medicinal products and the rules and regulations that affect dnata
14. Be aware of the role of the Responsible Person (RP) within the designated site for the handling of pharmaceutical and medicinal products under GDP processes
15. To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post
16. Promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of dnata
