Job Description
The Finance Manager role is initially a 6-month temporary position which could be extended. The role is hybrid with 3 days per week in the Blackburn office and 2 days remote. Reporting to the Head of Finance, key responsibilities will include:
1. Oversee all day-to-day financial transactions
2. Deal with internal and external queries regularly
3. Prepare monthly management accounts including full P&L and BS
4. Manage accruals
5. Approve Bankline/online banking payments
6. Conduct P&L forecasting
7. Responsible for the clean-up process and the ongoing maintenance of SAP
8. Supervise a small team
9. Assist with year-end audit
10. Responsible for other duties as requested by the Financial Director
The Successful Applicant
To apply for the role, you should:
1. Have previous experience in preparing monthly management accounts
2. Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
3. Be able to consider a temporary role initially
4. Be able to commute 3 days per week to the Blackburn office
