Job Description:
* Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work
* Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment
* Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
* Ensure pupils acquire and consolidate knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to the subject taught
* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
* Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and homework
* Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
