Job Description
Summary/objective
Responsible for the safe, orderly, successful, and superior operation of the acac Kids Zone.
Essential functions

1. Provide strong leadership with excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities.
2. Monitor and lead the Kid’s Zone team during the weekend, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
3. Create and foster a team culture which is centered on achieving goals with high level of customer service.
4. Support and handle member issues; make decisions in consideration of the club’s policies and procedures; ensure Kids Zone Director is informed of any weekend issues.
5. Create and support special events to promote department and club.
6. Maintain regularly scheduled hours on weekend department schedule.
7. Keep team and members informed of events and activities and encourage participation. Ensure equipment and work areas are in safe, working, and clean condition.
8. Collaborate with department managers to troubleshoot club related issues and ensure an overall high level of success for the club.
Requirements
Physical demands
1. Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift.
2. Ability to stretch, reach, pull, push and use repetitive arm, hand, and leg motion.
3. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
4. Must have ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Required competencies, education, and experience
1. High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
2. Prior professional childcare experience required.
3. Prior experience with leading and supervising teams highly preferred.
4. Must have genuine interest in working with and interacting with children.
5. Superior customer service and communication skills.
6. Proficient computer skills.
7. Must be at least 18 years old.

3. Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean.
4. Assist with Service Days.
5. Willingness to assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department.
6. When supervisor or team members calls or emails, promptly return contact.
7. Exhibit a positive attitude at all times.
8. Deliver outstanding service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, a pleasant demeanor at all times.
