We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants with experience in supporting primary-aged pupils, particularly those with additional needs, to join our team in Gloucester.
Responsibilities:

Support for SEN Pupils: Assist children with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioural difficulties, ensuring they access the curriculum effectively.

Classroom Collaboration: Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver tailored activities, manage classroom routines, and implement positive behaviour strategies.

Adaptability: Operate effectively across various school settings, from small village schools to larger multi-form entry institutions, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.

Qualifications: Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.

Skills: Strong commitment, initiative, and understanding of the learning and emotional requirements of children with special educational needs.

Compliance: Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply), two professional references covering the last two years, and, if applicable, an Overseas Police Check.
