In this collaborative Planning team, you will work with the planning policy team, developer contributions team, Design Manager, and Ecologist all under the new Head of Planning.

As the Development Management Manager you will:
* Manage the team and lead the ongoing service improvement be a key member of the Planning Service leadership team
* Play a key role in enabling the organisation and district to achieve it’s ambitions for the place
* Be supported by, and support, well-resourced Development Management Team
* You will be an RTPI professional with a track record of collaborative working and managing planning officers

Key Skills
* Significant post-qualification planning experience
* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary service teams
* Working in an environment of continuous improvement
* Track record of achievements in public service contracts/projects
* Ability to plan effectively across a wide range of service activities
* Understanding and implementation of performance management
* Practical experience of change management
