Technical Manager- Digital Forensics | Hybrid Manchester/ Leicester | £55,000-£65,000
Are you a Digital Forensic professional with experience in analysing and examining computer systems and mobile devices, and in implementing technologies to grow technical capabilities?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Forensics Technical Manager to join our client's team, a leading specialist in Digital Forensics and IR capabilities, providing top services to multiple clients within the corporate, legal, and law sectors.
This client has a state-of-the-art lab in Manchester and Leicester. Join this team to help build capabilities within it. You will manage other forensic professionals, assisting them in their work in the lab and helping to grow their skillset.
You will also be involved in conducting investigations, examinations, and analysis of various devices. This role offers the opportunity to work for top clients, lead projects, and assist in winning new business.
Role includes:
1. Conducting analysis in either a lab or on client sites
2. Securing and retrieving data from computers, mobiles, and other devices
3. Reporting findings to a high standard for use in court and within the police
4. Leading discussions with stakeholders and police members to keep them updated on ongoing cases
5. Managing and training junior and mid-level investigators on more complex cases
6. Leading initial client engagements and assisting in bringing projects on board
7. Implementing and utilising multiple DF tools, with input on which tools are brought into the lab
Experience:
1. 7+ years experience working in Digital Forensics
2. SC cleared or eligible, and NPPV3 cleared or eligible
3. Experience in working on mobile device forensics and computer system forensics
4. Experience with tools such as EnCase, FTK, and Cellebrite
5. Good knowledge and understanding of computer crime and electronic evidence, including ISO 17025 and FSR codes
6. Experience in managing teams and training Digital Forensic professionals
7. Experience in implementing and advising on digital forensic tools
