Our Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our homes, ensuring that every room and living space is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times. As a champion for hygiene and infection control, you'll have access to specialised equipment and materials to create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, their friends, and families. Some residents enjoy participating in simple cleaning and laundry tasks, so you may sometimes receive extra help during your routines.

About Hayward Care Centre
Named after local WW1 veteran, Reginald Hayward VC, Hayward Care Centre is located on the outskirts of Devizes, Wiltshire. The home offers compassionate, individualised residential, dementia, and respite care for up to 80 residents.

About You
You should be comfortable working in an elderly care setting and able to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner. Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training. What matters most is that you take pride in your work, communicate well, enjoy teamwork, and are eager to learn and excel every day.
