As an Income Recovery Advisor at Longhurst Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers, understanding their situation and help them move forward to sustain their tenancy. You'll be monitoring, controlling and recovering rent arrears alongside other charges. Obtaining payment through proactive contact with customers, you'll be confident in making decisions on whether to progress cases, helping to maximise income for the Group. Further key responsibilities are listed below:
Monitor rent and other accounts and take necessary action when needed.
Deal with incoming calls from customers, acting as the first port of call for rent related queries.
Have clear communication with customers by telephone or written communication, and keep case notes and records, ensuring that systems are reflected accurately.
Support customers throughout the recovery process, signposting to relevant agencies or via internal services.
General administration duties relating to cases as required.
Our Income Recovery Advisor position is hybrid role, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To us, this means some time working from home with an expectation of some presence in either our Rushden, Peterborough or Boston office on a weekly basis (we are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks). A large portion of our Income Recovery team are also hybrid workers across our geography too.
