Our Programme Management team has a new opportunity for a Senior or Principal Consultant to focus on advising clients on establishing their programme management approach for large capital programmes. The role can be based from our Cambridge office with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home and in-office working.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and other stakeholders to implement best practice programme management and PMO processes across large capital programmes of work. You will define requirements and translate them into tangible ways of working to support the delivery of capital programmes. We have a number of opportunities across our diverse client base to support the implementation of new digital systems, manage the delivery of capital programmes, support clients in implementing collaborative working, or redefining their project and programme management approaches.
Depending on your level, you will take a lead/supporting role in implementing ways of working and establishing new programmes, bringing industry best practice and innovation to generate efficiency. You will also help train and develop other members of our Programme Management teams and support clients in growing their capability and maturity.
As a Consultant within our Programme Management team, you will be at the forefront of connecting business strategy to deliver effective implementation of digital solutions across a variety of clients and programmes.
About you
You will have expertise in functional areas such as value management, cost/commercial, schedule/planning, risk management, and performance data & reporting within a capital delivery environment. Demonstrable experience of selecting appropriate solutions and hands-on consult/project delivery experience is required.
Being able to confidently engage with stakeholders, effectively manage expectations, and communicate data analysis to audiences across all levels of an organisation are important skills for this role.
You will have strong data analysis and presentation skills, a sharp attention to detail, and will be keen to learn and help build our overall capability. You will be inquisitive, creative, and always looking for innovative ways to drive efficiency across processes as part of Stantec’s commitment to continuous improvement.
