Job Description We are seeking a Music Supervisor to service our European Brand teams and advertising agencies including but not limited to TV producers, creatives, account teams, brand managers on both a local and global level. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years music supervision experience and will be expected to manage search, licensing, composition, and production music projects across Europe. The successful candidate will develop creative measures to not only increase the client portfolio but also maintain current customers in the UK and across Europe. Main Job Duties Your role would include, but not be limited to the following: Successfully implementing company policy Perform a high volume of music searches and music creation Execute licensing deals with licensees and manage the contractual process from start to finish Analyze new market opportunities and grow existing agency & brand relationships in the UK & Europe Attend meetings with clients Work with the licensing manager to develop and nurture a collaborative and highly talented licensing team. Use your years of experience as a music supervisor to raise the creative bar on projects for the wider Search & Licensing team Desired Skills & Experience Direct and applicable music supervision background in Advertising. As part of that role, we will speak to unsigned musicians, independent composers and composition companies, major and independent record labels, and publishers in order to negotiate and secure music rights. We also advise on the creative, suggesting tracks or musicians to supply music fit for the brief and brand Current Client Relations: With Unilever as our anchor client, we have a duty to serve not only the various brand teams (of which there are over 400 around the world) but also the rostered ad agencies. Much of day-to-day contact is with the ad agencies and therefore we are constantly looking to introduce, maintain and improve our service offering through presentations, workshops, and client feedback meetings. The successful candidate will take an active part in setting up these meetings, delivering information, and looking for ways to improve the service offering and relationship. The role may also include music supervision work including music search, sourcing original composition, and sync licensing. The Role: Having previously worked as a music supervisor, the candidate will have experience of high-level accounts in the world preferably within Advertising, so it goes without saying that a passion for music is essential. The candidate should feel comfortable talking about music and the industry as a whole to creatives, brand teams, and producers.
