Overview: We are currently looking to recruit a UK based Field Service Engineer for the IMS Engineering department. Location primarily South of UK (London region). The available position will require the candidate to fulfil varying degrees of responsibilities both from a field service engineer perspective but also from an administrative perspective as we look to strengthen our service engineer position in the UK. Roles and responsibilities: The onsite installation of commissioned IMS connect product range include but are not limited to: Wi-Fi, IPTV, AV, Digital Signage, IP Telephony, Casting, Energy Management Configuration assistance both onsite and in IMS connect offices with our NOC department to aid with UK and international project deployments. Support and maintenance of IMS connect systems across all client properties while responding within agreed SLAs. Work collaboratively with your colleagues in surveying, designing, and delivering network installations. Stock management – Cooperative management of equipment with the IMS connect procurement officer Logistic management to ensure delivery of stock to projects for both clients and IMS connect colleagues. Compliance with utilizing CRM, documentation, and communication platforms. Always represent the IMS connect brand with utmost professionalism and ensure the highest of respect is displayed to all stakeholders alike. Essential Skills & Experience: 2 years’ experience in the electrical, energy, security, or networking sectors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and complete job related documentation. Comprehensive organisational, prioritising, and planning skills. Meticulous attention to detail and proven high work standards with a focus on quality and consistency of accomplished works. A passion for delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction is essential. Full clean driving licence is essential. Solas Safepass or similar CSCS access card. Travel throughout the UK and internationally, for project survey and installation work is a core requisite of the role, the successful applicant must be willing and able to travel. Desirable Skills & Experience: Manual handling and working at heights (ladder) certification is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided Experience in working with software programmes Office 365, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, SharePoint etc. Familiarity working with ticketing CRM platforms A previous background in electrical systems to support Energy Management Solutions Location: The successful candidate will be based in the South of the UK and primarily tasked with serving that region. However, the role will require flexibility to travel in the UK & EU.
