Who Are We Looking For
We're looking for a skilled Client Consultant to be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships between organisations. We would want you to maintain growth for your accounts and be active in looking to define new opportunities to further the digital maturity of your clients. In turn an individual that has a drive to seek new accounts right fit to our offering and can confidently negotiate agreements and solidify contracts that provide a win-win to both parties.

You would operate as a guardian for your clients, constantly inspiring bigger & better ways of thinking. We want our clients to view their partnership with Cab Engine of the highest value. Therefore, we need individuals that strive to make a difference so there is never a question on our contract being deemed as anything less than essential. Our model has evolved and we now seek those that are passionate about our industry and service line and can confidently present, pitch and promote the right solutions for our clients without full reliance on the craft teams. We would want you to operate as a consultant and own your worth so that clients seek your guidance and inspiration in order to keep their business on track.
You will collaborate closely with other team members, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure that your client’s roadmap is cohesive and clear and reflected accordingly for client understanding and internal planning purposes. We are agile in our approach, being comfortable with chaos (to a degree) should excite rather than terrify. We as a studio do not operate in traditional red-tape methods. We welcome new talent to productively challenge on the daily in aid of joining our united desire to continually get better together. This mindset is essential for success here at Cab Engine.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
* Owning the client relationship and serving as the lead point of contact for matters specific to your accounts
* Developing trusted business partner relationships with key clients and customer stakeholders through a solid understanding of their industry trends and unique business challenges
* Ensuring that your clients have a robust and considered marketing strategy with agreed digital maturity metrics and KPIs based on their business revenue targets and growth aspiration
* Supports team members with valuable insight and initiatives for the design and execution of the strategy
* Aligns the devoted team in designing, measuring and reporting on the appropriate metrics and goals as set out in the strategy
* Responsible for maintaining an average 80% feedback score for all clients, and incorporating feedback to improve customer experience
* Has a sound understanding of the business, their products/services and the needs of the marketing strategy to unlock the business objectives
* Accountable to the processes and standards for client delivery, ensuring that the agreed strategy and tactics are scheduled, completed within the agreed hours / story points.
* Reviews client performance data weekly, to ensure an awareness of all channel performance against the pre-set metric maps and performance targets
* Takes ownership over client issues, escalations or complaints
* Prepares the agenda, co-ordinates all attendees, facilitates and actions and leads the meeting
* Identifies and manages overburn whilst upselling additional time and projects
* Contributes to agency marketing activities like blog posts, emails marketing and case study / award writing
* Build new client relationships through calls, networking, email campaigns, and word of mouth
* Create business proposals for clients and management
* Negotiate comprehensive new business contracts with clients with clearly defined terms
* Offer product and service consultations for clients to encourage sales among current and new
* Whilst not immediate within this role you will eventually become responsible for management of at least 1 member of the client team. Should the studio benefit from further new business wins you will be key in advising what talent we will require for success and a discussion will be held regarding your further management responsibilities.
Skills for Success
* Significant experience working as a Client Lead, with generalist knowledge across digital
* Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills, enabling you to manage a broad portfolio of clients and a busy schedule
* Enthusiasm and the confidence to own the role, and grow in a thriving studio
* The ability to question, challenge and understand a client's business plan from a broad range of markets and sectors
* Creation of marketing strategies that include tactics, budgeting and forecasting
* An analytical eye and overarching interest in using data to influence your decision-making
* Confidence in managing expectations and saying no when it’s in the best interest of our team and/or the client
* Working knowledge of key digital marketing tools such as (but not limited to) Google Analytics, Google Looker (Data) Studio, Excel/Sheets, Hotjar / Microsoft clarity, Powerpoint/Slides and Miro/Figjam.

* 60% -Direct client account management and strategy
* 15% -Client Services Training, mentoring and development of processes and standards

Preferred Previous Experience
* 4-6+ years of relevant client services / marketing experience in an account management role, or similar
* Knowledge/understanding of digital maturity
* Experience managing and mentoring other members of the team
* Agency & client-facing background
* Past working experience within an Agile environment with exposure to Agile frameworks such as Scrum/Kanban
* Experience using agile / project management tools in Jira and Confluence
* Great communication skills
* Able to aid successful team collaboration

Supporting Salary
In addition to joining a business that will fully support your future career aspirations, the salary will range between 38-45k based on your showcased experience. This is in addition to a bonus package listed within the supporting benefits package.
