This is an opportunity to join a leading FMCG manufacturer for their site in Wakefield. They are seeking apprentice-trained and highly experienced Shift Maintenance Engineers to join their established team, working panama-style shifts on their site in Wakefield.
Responsibilities for this position include:
1. Planned maintenance inspections, reviewing frequencies and parts used.
2. Rmend improvements to maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on equipment in line with legislation and best practice.
3. Overhaul and repair of plant; continually monitor plant conditions and report defects.
4. Perform RCA in depth for breakdowns and process failure.
5. Help generate and maintainpliance with SOPs/ Risk Assessments.
6. Carry out work in a standardised way.
7. Report plant performance using appropriatepany systems and ensure action onmunication of non-conformance issues.
8. Ensure operational key information is effectivelymunicated to colleagues and other shift teams;plete any relevant documentation on time and in full and support site services as required.
About you
9. Apprentice trained-level 3 or above.
10. Have extensive experience of maintaining a live manufacturing plant post apprenticeship.
11. Ideally, food manufacturing sector experience.
12. Have the correct right to work in the UK without expiry.
13. Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a production environment in the UK.
14. Able to work a Panama shift rota.
15. Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and production professionals.
16. Be continuous improvement focused.
