Computer Science Teacher – Greater Manchester – September Start
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bramhall, Greater Manchester for a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher. This full-time position is set to begin in September and offers the opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking ICT & Computing department.

Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent)
Pay: Paid in line with your scale (MPS/UPS)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science, including programming, data representation, systems architecture, and more.
* Adapt lessons to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
* Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies, incorporating technology effectively.
* Contribute to curriculum planning, resource development, and departmental CPD.
* Support the school’s digital literacy initiatives and promote e-safety.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Computer Science or IT.
* Has experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting.
* Confident delivering programming units (Python preferred) and computing theory.
* Enthusiastic about new technology and committed to inspiring students in the digital world.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
