Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to recruit for a Contracts Specialist based in Aberdeen. As a member of an established team, you will be responsible for reviewing contract documents and be the focal point for contract reviews and client negotiations. Key responsibilities: Review, prepare and record contract qualifications for each applicable set of clients, contract terms and co-ordinate negotiation process to close out all exceptions suitably in line with business norms and in good time. Focal point for review, qualification, and acceptance of all PPS division purchase orders in compliance with company standard terms and conditions for sale, rental, and service. Review all required terms with insurers to ensure full coverage on working and record and comply with advice. Notify all relevant internal parties of accepted contracts or orders and ensure full and clear handover of contractual obligations. Manage the internal requirement to legalise and notarise any existing document with company legal advisors and prepare, store and co-ordinate documents as required. Manage the contract management database, and the internal review process for existing agreements to allow for timely rate escalations, and review of terms where they need to be revised to meet new business norms. Escalate gaps identified and ensure timely close out within contract window. Add all new contracts to the database and storage folders as soon as possible to ensure they are managed as per process. Manage patent and trademark library. Prepare plans for allocated ITT’s, draft qualifications and negotiate contractual position. Participate in allocated tendering activities, preparing standard content and drafting and managing bid plan compliance through to submission stage. Conduct all activities in full compliance with the influence’s procedures, DOA, and any other applicable company processes. Promote compliance to others and actively intervene and highlight/escalate any process deviations. Ensure all activities meet audit requirements in compliance with company guidelines, policies, ethical standards and procedures and UK/EU legislation to minimize any potential audit exceptions, partner claims or court action. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Law and Management and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with contracts and a demonstrated knowledge of contract law principles in the oil and gas sector.
