We are seeking a dedicated SEND Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a supportive and inclusive SEND school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to develop their career within special education, providing high-quality teaching and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a SEND ECT you'll be expected to:
* Plan, implement and deliver tailored educational lessons to support the curriculum area of each student appropriately.
* Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and/or form tutor.
* Facilitate and encourage a positive learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
* Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
* Share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the personal and academic development of children and young people.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counsellors, support staff, and social workers to provide holistic support.
* Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
To apply for this SEND Teacher role you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Knowledge of teaching in a SEND setting.
* Able to provide referees.
* An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
