We are seeking to recruit an engineer to support the existing teams working within Clinical Technology for a fixed term of 6 Months. The successful applicant must have an engineering background, ideally with experience in engineering and maintenance. The successful applicant must be qualified to a minimum of ONC level, or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject and hold a valid full UK manual driving licence.
The department of Clinical Technology provides a comprehensive medical equipment management and maintenance service to the University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM) and external healthcare bodies. Based at both the Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital sites, the department consists of multidisciplinary teams of medical engineers, including renal, general medical, imaging, critical care and medical gases, which provide medical equipment maintenance and support to services across the organisation and to other local healthcare providers.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with a rapidly expanding service delivering essential technical support to clinical teams while ensuring best value from the significant investment in medical equipment taking place within UHNM.
