Subsea Project Manager
Location: Yateley
Employment Type: Full time, Monday - Friday
Purpose and Department:
Deliver bespoke engineering solutions to customers on time, on budget, and to specification whilst following internal company processes for project delivery, complying with required standards and observing customer specific documentation and communication needs.
The Role and Role Specific Competencies:
1. Ensure Customer specific Project documentation is delivered including manuals, manufacturing record books, interface specifications, handling/storage procedures and test & inspection plans.
2. Deliver timely and thorough targeted communication to all those with a direct and indirect interest including internal and external stakeholders.
3. Undertake project closeout reviews to gather lessons learned that can be fed back into improvements in processes and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential:
1. Proven project management expertise within an Engineering environment.
2. Proven ability to deliver results through others within a matrix organisation.
3. Proven experience of liaising directly with customers and delivering the highest possible levels of customer service.
4. Excellent planning and organisational skills including work scheduling, prioritising and multitasking.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Adaptable and flexible approach to work.
7. Problem solving & fault finding.
Desirable:
1. Previous experience and understanding of Subsea vessels, electronics or Subsea equipment.
Qualifications:
Essential:
1. Educated to degree level BSc/BEng or equivalent in Engineering or similar discipline.
Desirable:
1. APM PMQ, PRINCE 2 or similar project management certification.
