Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team in the care home sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care and senior care, with a passion for providing high-quality services to residents.
Duties:
1. On-Call duties
2. Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional care to residents
3. Assist in the management of day-to-day operations within the care home
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
5. Oversee the implementation of care plans and assessments
6. Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance resident well-being
8. Participate in staff training and development programmes
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
1. Must have a full UK driving licence and their own transport.
2. Previous experience in a senior care environment for at least 1 year and/or Level 3 HSC
3. Strong leadership and supervisory skills
4. Knowledge of dementia care best practices
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Ability to work effectively within a team
7. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a care setting
