This new role will evolve alongside QEHB's Cath Labs renovations. The successful candidate will be adaptable, responsive to change, and proactively solve problems before they occur. This role requires close collaboration with the expert clinical teams working in our four Cath labs to manage changes to how we operate within the current space(s). Facilitation of maximum efficiency will be a key duty of this role. The successful candidate will act as an integral link between service and supplier. There will be a significant period of change over the next few years that will require careful, detailed and accurate planning and organisation.
Main duties of the job
1. Ensure the scheme delivers as per contract which requires a whole systems approach.
2. Ensuring KPIs evidence are collected, monitored and reported to the appropriate Committees and investigate any gaps in order to develop solutions and re-evaluate.
3. Monitor stock management and ensure accuracy.
4. Manage any change to contract, understand clinical and cost implications via a robust evaluation and report and obtain clinical, finance and procurement approval through the Committee structure.
5. Work with all teams to ensure efficiencies and maximise utilisation of inpatient cath lab schedules to enhance capacity to meet the demands of the waiting list and deliver high quality care.
6. Monitor and track outcomes from regular oversight committees to ensure delivery of change.

8. Report on cath lab equipment maintenance/functionality and repairs and monitor compliance with the contract KPIs.
9. Identify opportunities for service re-design by facilitating demand and capacity exercises and process mapping services.
