Location: Office/Hybrid – minimum 3 days office based. Redditch, Worcestershire (Copthorne, West Sussex could be considered)
Hours: 37.5 hour per week worked Monday – Friday

The Role
This role encompasses the following responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):
* Process purchase orders & update our internal system with supplier acknowledgements.
* Monitor orders to ensure on time delivery to customers.
* Alert sales teams to shipping issues and delays to orders.
* Manage supplier backlogs and expedite where necessary.
* Control inventory levels to maximise cashflow and minimise write offs.
* Update business systems with delivery and shipping information.
* Manage supplier quotes and costs to support profitable sales transactions.
* Provide general administrative support for the product group team.
* Ad-hoc tasks as and when required to support the Team.
* Manage your own diary and appointment booking.
* Enthusiastic and motivated.
* Flexible approach.
* Understanding and prioritising workload.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Good numeracy and data management skills.
* Team player and able to work on own initiative.
* Commercial acumen.
* Ability to multitask.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
* Experience working in a purchasing role would be advantageous.
