Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for administratively managing a University department under the general direction of a functional Program Director or under the auspices of a Program Advising Committee and according to an established program plan. May participate in the development of program objectives and is responsible for achieving objectives within defined parameters set by University and/or department policies and procedures or technical principles. May require fiscal management of grants and other funds. May manage multiple programs. Requires the use of independent judgment to determine the best approach to accomplish objectives established in the program plan. May supervise staff as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversee eConsult Program:
1. Interact with providers
2. Train providers on the software
3. Track eConsults to completion and ensure delivery back to the requester
4. Conduct process and impact evaluations, including drafting assessments and managing relevant data
5. Track satisfaction with the program to ensure meaningful services are provided
1. Administrative and communication tasks:
1. Support Administrative Director with meeting planning and hosting via Zoom, meeting minutes, formalized reports, and presentations as requested
2. Work with Administrative Director to generate communications content such as social media, content for quarterly newsletters, and marketing materials telehealth/eConsult
3. Support biennial UAB Global Health Symposium
4. Establish and maintain professional relationships and timely communications with team members, telehealth partners, global health collaborators, faculty, and stakeholders
1. Coordinate Telehealth-related activities:
1. Receive and respond to telehealth initiative requests from the Associate Director and Institute
2. Ensure that any new or changes to ongoing telehealth initiatives are communicated appropriately so that websites and other materials are updated
1. Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $43,890 - $71,000
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
