Description Temporary Contract Maternity Cover until 31 st March 2025 | £32,076 to £33,945 per annum (Scale H) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich – with travel across Norfolk and Suffolk The Norfolk and Suffolk Careers Hub brings together over 140 secondary schools, special schools and further education colleges throughout Norfolk and Suffolk and is a partnership between The Careers and Enterprise Company, Norfolk County Council and Suffolk County Council. Our work helps ensure that every young person receives outstanding, relevant careers education throughout their time at school and college. We aim to bridge the gap between education and employment by bringing together schools and colleges with local employers to support them in delivering high quality, inspirational careers programmes for their students. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Norfolk and Suffolk Careers Hub team as an Enterprise Coordinator, working in a team to drive our vision, to work with schools, colleges, and employers to help every young person find their best next step. You will be working alongside an established team, to support schools and colleges in the Norfolk and Suffolk Careers Hub, with this role primarily support Suffolk schools although there is likely to be a requirement to support some Norfolk schools near the Suffolk/Norfolk border. The Enterprise Coordinator role sits at the heart of a local community of practice which helps schools improve their careers and enterprise activities and engage with the world of work. The coordinator’s role is to build the capacity of our schools, (including mainstream, specialist provision and alternative provision) and Post 16 Centres and Colleges, to deliver high quality career development programmes The role will require supporting business engagement and recruitment of volunteers from local businesses to further support our work. Ideal candidates will need to demonstrate some knowledge and understanding of careers, education, information advice and guidance (CEIAG) and the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels, with a wide range of external stakeholders. You will have a proven ability to successfully support and challenge senior leaders in schools, evidence of partnership working and a track record of engaging with business on the skills agenda.
