Education and Training
£20 - £30 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide academic support and guidance to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting.
* Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student.
* Deliver tailored lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
* Collaborate with SEN coordinators, teachers, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students.
* Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Understanding of the UK education system and curriculum.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (desirable).
* Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques (desirable).
Additional Information:
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule.
* Work primarily in an outreach capacity, visiting students in their learning environments.
* Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external agencies.
