Job Description
Our Broxburn site have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
As a Compliance Coordinator you will support the Broxburn Team in the successful application of SHEQ and BRC principles & Transport compliance, always ensuring that the site remains compliant with current legislation, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Key Duties of a Compliance Coordinator:
* Ensure all practices are carried out in accordance with Company policies, processes, and standards as relating to goods and services supplied.
* Conduct internal audits as required to demonstrate levels of compliance and create and implement improvement actions where necessary.
* Ensure all services on site meet the expectations of BRC and accreditation is maintained.
* Overseeing and supporting in site maintenance for the depot to ensure all areas of the site are kept clean and tidy and that site maintenance is carried out in line with Company requirements.
* Participate in depot meetings, chairing where appropriate in H&S, HACCP, Food Safety or other SHEQ related project meetings.
* Ensure accurate and relevant KPIs on performance levels are produced and shared with depot Management team, statutory authorities and customers as appropriate, including near miss reporting, HACCP.
* Develop the Line Management Teams by reviewing and advising in appropriate areas such as Risk Assessment, Hazard Spotting.
* Conduct accident Investigations for the depot within agreed timeframes, implement corrective actions.
* Support depot Operational Teams in identifying trends, training needs, and risk management.
* Support site Management in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives, participating in projects as required.
Qualifications
* Experience of compliance requirements and challenges within Transport and Warehouse Operations.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and Internal and external auditing.
* Effective communicator with the ability to persuade and influence senior management.
* Able to work under pressure and prioritise demands.
* Understanding of BRC is desirable.
* Good working knowledge of MS Packages - word, excel etc.
