Be Free Campaign is a fast-growing mental health charity dedicated to improving well-being, tackling stigma, and empowering communities through education and support.
The Role
We are looking for a Campaigns & Marketing Officer to drive engaging campaigns that raise awareness of our work, support fundraising efforts, and strengthen our communications. This is an office-based role in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, working closely with our team to maximise reach and engagement.
This role will require communication of the disparities in support of those from ethnic minority and marginalised communities. Those who have lived experience but may not meet all the below criteria should still apply.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Fundraising Support: Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns that promote our fundraising initiatives and awareness projects.
Content Creation: Write and design engaging content across social media, email newsletters, blogs, and our website to grow our audience.
Social Media Management: Manage and develop our social media presence, increasing engagement and visibility.
Press & PR: Write press releases and liaise with media contacts to gain coverage.
Community Engagement: Support events and fundraising initiatives, working closely with volunteers, partners, and donors.
Brand & Website Support: Ensure branding and messaging remain consistent across all communications and digital platforms.

Fundraising-Minded – You recognise that everyone in the organisation plays a role in fundraising, and you see marketing as a key tool to support this in a positive and empowering way.
Experience & Skills
Experience in marketing, communications, or campaign management.
Strong copywriting skills with an eye for detail.
Knowledge of social media management and digital marketing tools.
Ability to use design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable but not essential.
