Instructor – Supported Learning (Huntingdon) Fixed-Term, Term-Time Only (Maternity Cover until January 2026) We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team in Huntington as an Instructor – Supported Learning. This role offers the opportunity to work with learners in the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Primary Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities: Teach, supervise, and assess learners across a variety of locations and programmes within SEND, at levels including pre-entry and above. Organise assessment opportunities in line with awarding body requirements to promote learner achievement. Monitor, action plan, track, and review learners’ progress regularly. Maintain and complete assessment records and action plans. Provide feedback and reports on learners’ progress to colleagues, employers, and learners. Prepare and maintain resources and the learning environment (e.g., workshops or studios). Assist with external events such as student skill competitions and industry visits. Support recruitment efforts, including participating in Open Days and special events. Attend Faculty, team, and cross-college meetings as required. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent). Vocational skills or practical experience in hospitality/catering and life skills. Extensive experience working with learners with a range of learning disabilities.
