We have an opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager – Voids to join our team, based in Ipswich. The main purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of a high quality and cost effective service that responds to customer, organisational and financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor, manage and complete all customer works, through self-delivery teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Manage the recruitment, performance and development of quality employees to ensure that the required skilled people are available to meet the needs of the service.
* Develop and maintain process improvement through the creation of an innovative environment for operational staff to have creative thought sharing processes and tools.
* Management of issues and escalation process, ensuring effective and timely resolution is achieved, satisfying contract requirements.
* Management of health and safety aspects of operations, ensuring business responsibilities are delivered in a safe manner without lost time accidents.
Skills and Experience:
* To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Construction or Management, NEBOSH National Diploma - Construction or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application.
* Experience of managing multi-site maintenance contracts in a commercially focused role.
* Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop people.
* Demonstrate achievement in project management.
* Proven experience of delivering services within budget.
* Proven experience of operating within a performance focused environment, delivering key performance indicators.
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
