Group FP&A Manager
Oxford Instruments is seeking a dedicated and experienced Group FP&A Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Group FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, while providing crucial Finance Partner support to key stakeholders in managing global functional financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
* Consolidate and analyse financial data, providing insights to senior management.
* Lead the annual budgeting and in-year forecasting processes.
* Prepare and distribute consolidated Group financial reports, including insightful commentary and analysis.
* Partner with senior management to develop new reporting templates and performance indicators.
* Provide finance partner support to key stakeholders, offering financial expertise and guidance.
Person Specification: Education / Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
* ACA/ACCA qualified accountant.
Professional Skills/Abilities:
* Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
* Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies.
* Excellent understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
* Proficiency in financial systems, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other financial software.
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Personal Qualities:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Comfortable interacting with C-suite stakeholders.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role is a hybrid role with the main location being Tubney Woods, Abingdon. We work from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and finish at 1:00 pm on Fridays, allowing you to start your weekend early.
