We have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join our Company Secretariat team on a permanent basis based in the London office (hybrid based). The role As the Senior Assistant Company Secretary, you will work within the Company Secretariat Team to assist the Group Company Secretary and provide corporate governance support, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely filings for RHL Group and will advise on governance frameworks. The person The successful candidate will be someone who has significant experience working within a Co Sec team with either a part or full CGI qualification. You will have experience of attending board and committee meetings and preparing accurate and concise minutes. A working knowledge of relevant corporate governance standards for example: UK Corporate Governance Code, Wates Principles is fundamental. Previous line management experience and a desire to share best practice and support the development of your direct report in an inclusive way through coaching and mentoring is key to this role. As a Senior Assistant Company Secretary you will have regular interaction with high profile stakeholders, so we are looking for someone with effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at different levels. A high level of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills is essential. You will act as a role model within the team and be keen to introduce new ideas and ways of working to help encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
