We are EATON Our plant in Worksop, part of Eaton Electrical group manufactures Rotary Cam Switches and Switch - Disconnectors for the world market and is now looking for a Quality Engineer to join their site Quality team. What you'll do: - Provide expert Quality support to all functions of the business as well as external stakeholders, drive continuous improvement and achievement of plant quality goals - Be the key contact for customer quality issues, coordinating the customer concerns process, producing 8D analysis and liaising with divisional quality team on concern resolution - Support Quality operations in Supply Chain, Component Production and Assembly areas, providing quality expertise and driving continuous improvement to achieve organisational goals - Perform Internal Quality audits, including QMS Audits, EQMS self-assessments and product audits. - Own the quality related aspects of NPI and insourcing projects - Support the development and training of other members of the Quality team and wider plant, driving up competency levels and organisational knowledge Qualifications: - HND or Equivalent in Engineering discipline - Previous experience in a Quality role in a manufacturing environment - Supplier Quality experience - ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditing - Automotive Quality Tool Kit expertise (PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP) Skills: - Structured problem solving - Excellent verbal and written communication, proactive attitude to work, drive to achieve organisational goals, good time management and ability to train and develop colleagues in areas of expertise What we offer: - Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team - We make your aspirations matter - Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible - We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term - not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University - We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people's lives and the environment through power management technologies.
