As a result of future workload, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a project administrator to join our team in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
Job Description
The role is to support Engineering Project Staff in all aspects of project administration, including:
* Adhering to company processes
* Supporting in the preparation of project performance reports.
* Supporting Project Managers
Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Project Managers with providing information for finance team to invoice.
* Producing Purchase Orders with finance for sub-contractors.
* Following company procedures to produce the monthly project reports.
* Supporting project managers in maintaining records and database information to support month end project reviews and project reporting.
* Follow existing processes to ensure consistency of project set up and administrative information.
* Reporting to the Director of the Nuclear Business unit.
* Supporting Project Managers and Project Staff.
* All of the above will need to be carried out in a timely manner and forms part of a monthly cycle.
Requirements:
* Previous administrative experience.
* The aptitude to proactively work on own initiative.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent Microsoft Office Skills – In particular Excel, with a an appreciation of Microsoft Access for the internal company database and Microsoft Word.
* Confident in dealing with numbers.
* Enjoy working as part of a team both in the local office and across the company.
* Can follow written processes.

Training
You will receive internal training on the IMS processes and internal systems. Further future training and development can be discussed with your line manager.
Role: – Project Administrator (nuclear team).
Location: – Whitehaven Office, Westlakes Science Park, with occasional travel to Preston Office.
