We are incredibly proud of the exceptional success pupils enjoy when studying maths at Kings Priory School. At GCSE, 94% of pupils achieved a 4+ in maths in 2024 and this high level has been sustained for many years. We also have a large number of A-Level mathematicians, as well as a strong cohort of Further mathematicians.
We are seeking a Deputy Curriculum Leader of Maths to work collaboratively alongside the Curriculum Team Leader to continue building on the tremendous strengths which are already within the department and make pupils’ experience of Maths at Kings Priory School truly exceptional. We are looking for a dynamic, adaptable and enthusiastic teacher to work alongside our hardworking, talented and dedicated team, to teach mathematics across the full ability range at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a willingness to participate in the wider life of the school, in all of its forms.
We welcome applications from colleagues at all stages of their career, confident that our school will provide a supportive environment where learners want to learn and relationships between staff and pupils are second to none. If you are an outstanding teacher with the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support pupils to ensure they make exceptional progress, we would love to hear from you.
