Who We’re Looking For
Our flagship venue is undergoing an exciting new development phase, and we are about to launch London’s newest competitive socialising concept. Our multi-use games hall – will incorporate pool, electric shuffleboard, AR darts and karaoke rooms alongside a new cocktail bar and private bar with views over the rest of our enormous venue. It will be a sub-brand of Big Penny Social and will form part of the unique experience of visiting the venue for all of our many guests, groups, brands and corporates.
It is inspired by old social clubs and pool halls, and the atmosphere and vibe will be key. The brand identity is Fun, Quirky and Comforting – and we are looking for the perfect person to help bring the brand to life.
Although an AGM of Big Penny Social, your primary responsibility will be the management of the new space. This will be your domain, you will be the face of the new venue, and we want your personality, wit and character to shine through and be central to its success. We want you to deliver an exceptional customer experience in an exciting and challenging environment, for the newest part of our growing business.

Key responsibilities & Tasks
General
· The AGM will be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the new games hall, bar and kitchen at Big Penny Social.
· A personable, fun and unique guest experience is essential. We want to get away from the brash and transactional feeling of most games spaces, and the personality of this role is key to that.
· You will work with the GM to hire the team, finding the best talent to bring the brand to life
· You’ll be responsible for rotas, GP control and guest feedback.
· Ensuring that a fun, quirky and unique experience is backed up by exceptional professionalism and diligence in every part of the business
· Ensuring speedy and efficient service with a friendly attitude, by coordinating with kitchen, bar staff and BOH.
· Monitoring appropriate staffing levels to meet the expected level of customer experience, whilst hitting labour percentage KPIs.
· Helping to integrate the space into the overall running of Big Penny Social.
· When necessary, assisting with the running of Big Penny Social and covering for holidays and other absences.

Flexible hours across a seven-day period. Due to requirements of this role shifts are more often Wednesday – Sunday. The role will require to cover hours outside of the standard on an ad-hoc basis.
