About the Roles
We’re seeking proactive, results-driven people for both our Sales Manager (Demand) and Sales Manager (Supply) roles within our newly created GPU as a Service Deal Desk Team. The Sales Manager (Demand) will lead sales demand efforts for our Public Cloud GenAI infrastructure business with our Sales Manager (Supply) focusing on identifying, attracting, and negotiating with organisations capable of providing spare GPU capacity to meet demand. Reporting into the Deal Desk Leader, these pivotal roles focus on sales opportunities under three-year reserved contracts, including on-demand and short-term reserved deals.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales & New Business Generation
* Being responsible for achieving, and exceeding, both revenue and margin targets for your area of focus.
* Structure creative deal solutions that maximise margins while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
* Cultivate long-term, successful relationships with external brokers, other CSPs (neo-clouds) and ISVs.
* Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities that consistently meets, and ideally exceeds, NScale’s expectation on revenue and margin targets.
* Work in partnership with the Sales Manager (Supply) to help them find GPU capacity to fulfill your prospects’ needs.
Supply Generation
* Ensure the availability of GPU supply at optimal prices to meet revenue and margin goals.
* Build and foster relationships with CSPs across all regions to make Nscale their preferred partner for fulfilling spare capacity.
* Build and maintain a robust pipeline of supply-side companies to ensure consistent demand fulfilment.
* Collaborate with Demand Side Managers to locate GPU capacity tailored to prospects’ needs.
* Support Demand Side Sales Managers in closing deals at optimal revenue and margin.
* Monitor and track competitive offerings, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
* Analyse win/loss data to refine pricing and deal structure approaches.
* Partner with the Deal Desk Leader to develop dashboards for key performance metrics (HubSpot), maintaining these for your area of responsibility.
* Generate regular reports on deal pipeline, margins, and revenue forecasts.
About You
Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of technology deal desk sales experience.
* Proven track record in ‘as a Service’ sales with target achievement in fast-paced environments.
* Strong understanding of infrastructure economics and cloud computing business models.
* Demonstrated expertise in structuring complex deals and optimising margins.
* Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, AI/ML workloads, and related technologies.
* Advanced Excel / Google Sheet skills and experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in AI infrastructure or high-performance computing industries.
* Knowledge of GPU architecture and AI workload requirements.
* Background at major cloud providers or AI infrastructure companies.
* Understanding of GPU supply chain dynamics and procurement strategies.
Please Note: We're currently working remotely, but plan to transition to a hybrid working model in 2025 as we look to secure a modern office space in London.
