A leading construction company in Barking is looking for a dedicated and experienced Crane Supervisor to oversee crane operations on marine construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine construction, along with valid sea survival training certification. Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate all crane operations on-site, ensuring safe and efficient lifting activities.
2. Plan and manage lifting operations in a marine construction environment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
3. Work closely with the project team to assess lifting needs and plan accordingly.
4. Conduct pre-lift safety checks and ensure all equipment is used properly.
5. Provide leadership and guidance to slingers, signallers, and crane operators.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
7. Sea Survival Training Certification (mandatory).
8. Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor in marine construction projects.
9. Valid Crane Supervisor qualification (CPCS or equivalent).
10. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in lifting operations.
11. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
12. Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
