Role Description:
A senior transaction role, which involves running a team of including three Transaction Leaders and Transaction Executives / Outreach staff.
The Team Leader will take ultimate responsibility for the performance (financial and non-financial) of their Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a transaction team of up to nine members of staff.
* Always maintain the highest standards of professional behaviour, and act as a role model to team members.
* Be responsible for the delivering of an annual fee target for the team (target to be reviewed annually and to be agreed with the Managing Director).
* Lead major deals, and double-head complex transactions to support your deal leaders, where appropriate.
* Manage and motivate the team members to ensure that performance and client service levels are maximised.
* Set and monitor appropriate targets and KPIs for all team members.
* Perform regular 1-2-1 meetings and quarterly review meetings with all team members.
* Take the lead on all client service / client complaint issues & terminations of the team’s portfolio and ensure that the matters are concluded on a timely basis.
* Prepare a monthly report (detailing progress against targets, KPIs, complaints, key files, terminations) for submission to the Managing Director.
* Support and assist senior members of staff to ensure new initiatives, and policies are implemented across your team.
* Ensure that appropriate training is provided to your team members to aid their development.
* Allocate (and reallocate where necessary) files across the team members.
* Attend and contribute at senior management meetings.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure the timely progression of client files.
* Monitor and assist (where necessary) with the progression of all files in the team through to completion.
* Monitor Interest received by your team and ensure that prospects are processed promptly and proactively.
* Attend to recruitment and other HR matters pertaining to the team.
