An opportunity for Health Care Support Workers to join our dedicated team within the hyper-acute stroke unit. CTM stroke services are currently based in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
We are looking for reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join the team.
The individuals will be required to work under the direction of the registered nurse, ensuring high standards of care are provided and maintained at all times.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be caring for patients on an acute stroke with complex health issues. You will be responsible for providing care for patients who require assistance with all activities of daily living including washing, dressing, mobilising, feeding, and pressure area care.
The successful candidate will also be expected to complete documentation to an acceptable standard and assist in keeping the ward area clean and clutter-free.
The applicants will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to use their own initiative. Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Salary: £23,970 per annum, pro rata if part-time.
