Payroll Administrator
Your new company
A well-known public organisation is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll Administrator. This individual will join the team on a temporary contract. The position is fully remote. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 0900 AM to 5 PM, with flexible working.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for:
1. End to end payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
2. Analysing data and checking for variances
3. Performing reports back to management
4. Bank journals and reconciliation of payroll accounts
5. Administration of year-end returns
6. Making payments to third parties
7. Dealing with sundry payroll matters (e.g., P45/P60 experience would be beneficial)
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel and ITrent. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You will be experienced at running both weekly and monthly payrolls.
