The vacancy Are you ready to lead and make a real impact? Bromford is looking for a visionary head of sustainability to drive our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and keep us at the forefront of sustainable practices in the housing sector. In this role, you'll shape and implement a sustainability strategy, set measurable goals, and ensure compliance with ESG standards. You'll influence investment plans, lead transformative projects, and foster collaboration with leaders, colleagues, and external partners to deliver meaningful outcomes for our organisation and communities. As an advocate and communicator, you'll inspire action, represent Bromford at industry events, and lead a talented team to promote a culture of excellence. By driving innovation and securing funding opportunities, you'll leave a lasting legacy and embed sustainability into everything we do. The role is permanent and full time. You can be based from any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, Wolverhampton, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds with travel across our geography required. A full UK driving licence and a basic DBS and consumer check are necessary for this role. You should bring: Significant experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field A proven ability to design and deliver effective sustainability strategies Preferably, experience within the housing or real estate sector In-depth knowledge of ESG principles and sustainability reporting frameworks Strong leadership, organisational, and project management expertise Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders A sharp analytical mind, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a similar discipline A passion for sustainability and a proactive, innovative mindset A collaborative approach, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively The closing date is Wednesday 5 March with first stage interviews taking place Friday 14 March.
